How to Keep Your Windows Spotless During a Dry, Dusty Summer

There’s a lot to love about a dry British summer: fewer downpours, longer evenings, more chances to host a BBQ without needing a backup gazebo. But one thing the dry weather doesn’t help with? Window cleaning.

Dust, pollen, insects and grime all seem to conspire to turn your sparkling panes into hazy messes. Here’s how to fight back.

Tips to stay smudge-free

1. Get your windows professionally cleaned early in the season

2. Avoid hosepipe rinses
   Tempting though it is, spraying your windows with hard tap water just leaves more marks. Our purified water avoids this.
   
   
3. Brush away cobwebs and dust between cleans
